Two for Duke is a magical world, full of flavors, colors, unknown fragrances, caresses, thunder, faces and fascinating stories ...
Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn have left an indelible mark on all music, not just in jazz, creating a reality that did not exist before, laying the foundations of a harmonic and melodic language that anticipated time of several decades.
Dado Moroni and Max Ionata decided to explore this land and return to tell us about their adventures, bringing with them some real hidden gems!

DadoMoroni-AlvinQueen

For 30 years, Dado and Alvin are working together, sharing the stage with historical figures, such as Johnny Griffin, Wynton Marsalis, Bud Shank, Clark Terry, David Murray, James Moody, Oliver Lake, Harry Edison, Buddy De Franco etc.
A group of artists covering almost all the languages of jazz. This has affected the original sound of this trio, which has its roots in the purest traditional jazz but, at the same time, proves to be relevant, because it exists and lives in the present, taking into account everything that happens today artistically. All filtered through the personal experiences of the three.
The repertoire consists of original compositions by Dado Moroni, standards and good arrangements of what is common to almost all the musicians from jazz to pop to rock, since '60: the blues. It's an exciting, passionate and spontaneous music, proposed by three friends of distant origins that, once on stage, tell their stories.
